Hurricane María was the first time I really felt fear and unprotected of what could happen. The series emerged as I saw the pain in the faces of the people who didn't have the resources I had. With this series I understood my purpose of merging the human figure with nature. Hurricane María brought an opportunity for the people of Puerto Rico to regrow as human beings at the same time as nature was restored. This is my voyage after the hurricane hit my island.
